What versions of Microsoft Windows are needed to run DocWriterPro?

We have tested DocWriterPro on Windows 8.0, 8.1, and 10. We have every expectation that DocWriterPro will run on Windows 7. But Windows XP is not supported. We recommend downloading the demo version to test on your particular environment before purchasing a subscription.

Does DocWriterPro run on Apple computers?

DocWriterPro runs on Microsoft Windows operating system. However we have clients who run DocWriterPro on Windows hosted on Apple notebooks. We have tested DocWriterPro running on macOS Sierra with Parallels and Microsoft Windows 10. However we cannot endorse any of these solutions, as we have not formally tested the combinations. We recommend downloading the demo version to test on your particular environment before purchasing a licence.

Can I install DocWriterPro on a network?

DocWriterPro is a single-user product. It is designed and licenced per computer, so the installation needs to be on the user's computer. However you can share templates in a common folder (even synched with DropBox), but then all templates are the same for each user.

We may be developing a Corporate Edition (depending on demand) that will work with groups of users who can have both shared and personal templates. We have no production dates for this edition at this time. Please feel free to contact us to express your interest.

Does my subscription come with Technical Support?

Yes, DocWriterPro provides Technical Support to clients for initial installation. Ongoing technical support relating to DocWriterPro can be obtained by contacting us on this web-site, which will be responded to in a timely manner.​

How will I know when my subscription is due for renewal?

​Your software displays the number of days of subscription left and highlight in red when within 14 days of renewal.

Will I lose my data if my subscription lapses?

Absolutely not, all of your data will remain in DocWriterPro and will be available to you with the renewal of your subscription.
